ARKAD is a career fair organized by engineering students at Lund University, Faculty of Engineering (LTH), and takes place every November. With approximately 200 participating exhibitors from dozens of different industries and around 7,000 visitors, ARKAD is Scandinavia's largest career fair.
-
LTH as university — LTH is an important and prestigious university to recruit from, not just if you have local offices in the Öresund region.
Broad marketing – promote your company to all LTH students, as well as to many natural science and business economics students! Did you know there are at least five programs with strong IT expertise?
Service – We have the most well-organized and most visited fair at LTH, and we receive a lot of positive feedback from our exhibitors. Having up to 200 exhibitors is proof of this and makes us the largest career fair in Scandinavia.
Timing – We start marketing early in Q4 and focus on profiling around thesis projects. Thesis projects, which are a mandatory final requirement for engineering students, provide an excellent opportunity to run a project that showcases students’ combined skills, while also offering a first step into the job market.

The fair days are November 11 and 12, 2025, but we also host events during weeks 45, 48, and 49.

The base price is 39 000 SEK.

The prices for ARKAD reflect the resources we invest in creating the best possible event for both our students and exhibitors. Having around 200 returning exhibitors is proof that they believe the price justifies what they gain from the fair and the surrounding marketing efforts.
All profits we generate go directly to funding other important activities within our non-profit association, such as educational monitoring and student welfare work through our full-time paid student workers. Despite reduced government funding and a tougher economic situation for our organization and our students, we have kept the base price at the same level as last year – 39,000 SEK – to offer a broad and high-quality selection of exhibitors for our students.
-
We will offer a Trial discount this year only for exhibitors who have never participated in the fair or who have not been part of it since 2022. Even though this might hurt our finances, it will be the effort to expand the range of exhibitors for our students in underrepresented industries, for example the construction industry. Please feel free to contact us to explore this opportunity.
We are also exploring the possibility of signing multiyear contracts with our closest, oldest, and most recurring exhibitors. With the goal of deepening our collaborations, we hope that such an arrangement will be seen as beneficial for both parties. Though this is not something we can offer just yet.

The Fair
-
Booth placement is primarily based on matching similar exhibitors together. This is based on their field of work and which student competences are desired. However, there is no guarantee that all requests can be fufilled.
Events
-
Primary Lunch Lectures before ARKAD to market their participation at the fair, and Company Visits after ARKAD to follow up on their participation at ARKAD. These are the events we have seen are most popular, easiest organized by us and you, and also most giving in their purpose to both give students a deeper understanding of your company and build more individual relations with students, but if you have another idea it is possible to organize that as well.
-
A Lunch Lecture is a presentation where companies invite students to lunch (100, 120, or 150 students), and discuss current and future projects, as well as opportunities for collaboration with students. Lunch lectures are the perfect opportunity for companies to get even closer to engineering students and capture their attention before the fair. Lunch lectures are held from 12:15 to 13:00 and take place in one of the lecture halls at Lund University, Faculty of Engineering (LTH) during week 45.
